Brussels Fire Brigade responded on Wednesday morning to a fire in a terraced house on Rue Royale Sainte-Marie in Schaerbeek near Rogier.
According to a comment from Walter Derieuw, the blaze was quickly brought under control. Five people from the same family were evacuated and taken to hospital with mild smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, and an investigation is underway.
