99 additional people have tested positive for the new coronavirus (Covid-19) in Belgium, confirmed the Federal Public Health Service on Saturday.
This brings the total number of cases in Belgium, since the beginning of the pandemic, to 59,918.
55 of the newly-infected people live in Flanders, 22 in Wallonia and 21 in Brussels.

23 new patients were admitted to hospital in the last 24 hours. The total number of people in hospital because of the coronavirus at the moment is 425, which is 52 less than the day before. 88 of these patients are in the intensive care unit.
8 new deaths have been reported, bringing the total number of people who died because of the coronavirus to 9,654. This is the first time since the peak of the epidemic that the number of new deaths remains below 10.
