The body of a man born in 1989 was discovered on Saturday morning by a jogger at the Citadel of Namur, according to the Namur public prosecutor’s office.
The victim is believed to have fallen from a height of 20 metres. Authorities have not ruled out any possibilities, including an accident, suicide, or homicide involving a third party.
The victim’s car was found damaged at the top of the citadel, the prosecutor’s office added.
A forensic pathologist, a crime lab team, and the King’s prosecutor of Namur attended the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
