An explosion occurred outside a house on Rue Père Damien in Evere at about 03:45 on Monday, damaging the building but causing no injuries.
The Brussels fire brigade confirmed the incident through its spokesperson.
No one was physically injured in the explosion. However, one person, who was in a state of distress, had to be treated at the scene.
The blast damaged the building’s façade and front door.
The exact cause of the explosion has not yet been determined.
