Cloudy skies will dominate Saturday afternoon, with occasional sunny spells and local showers possible in the east and north, according to the Royal Meteorological Institute’s midday forecast.
Maximum temperatures are expected to range from 4°C to 10°C.
Overnight, cloud cover will persist, accompanied by isolated local showers. Fog is likely, especially in the Ardennes, reducing visibility in some areas. Minimum temperatures will drop to between 1°C and 4°C.
On Sunday, the weather will be mostly cloudy with light rain in the south of the country. Other regions will remain dry for most of the day, though the risk of showers will increase in the west later. Maximum temperatures will range from 4°C to 8°C.
Monday morning is expected to start off cloudy with occasional rainfall before turning generally dry later in the day. Temperatures in the central region will reach around 8°C.
On Tuesday, a weather front moving in from France will bring periods of rain across the country under very cloudy skies. Maximum temperatures are forecast at 7°C in the central area.
Wednesday may begin with rain in the west, but conditions will improve throughout the day, becoming dry across all regions with occasional wide sunny intervals. Temperatures will be relatively mild, reaching around 10°C in central areas.
