Leuven station evacuated and trains suspended due to bomb threat

The railway station in Leuven has been evacuated due to a bomb threat.

Leuven local police received the bomb threat shortly before 16:00 and are now on site with several teams to manage the evacuation and search the station.

According to the national railway company SNCB-NMBS, all train traffic to and from Leuven has also been suspended since 16:00.
