Rail services between Brussels and Leuven are disrupted due to damage to the overhead line.

Trains are currently running on two of the four tracks between Diegem and Zaventem, according to the rail network operator Infrabel.

On its website, the national rail operator SNCB/NMBS warns that delays and cancellations are possible.

Some trains are being diverted locally. Repair work on the damaged overhead line at Zaventem is currently underway.

It is still too early to estimate when everything will be repaired, according to an Infrabel spokesperson.
