An 82-year-old man and a 76-year-old woman died in a traffic accident in Borsbeek, in the province of Antwerp, on Monday afternoon, according to local police.
The couple's vehicle had exited a carwash on Frans Beirenslaan (R11) shortly before noon when it struck a building façade near the car park.
Both occupants of the car sustained severe injuries. Emergency responders attempted to resuscitate them at the scene, but the man and woman succumbed to their injuries.
